Kelly currently oversees the GW Cancer Center Comprehensive Cancer Control Technical Assistance Program, under the leadership of Dr. Pratt-Chapman. Before working with GW Cancer Center, Kelly served as the Rural Outreach Coordinator for the Iowa Cancer Consortium. She also led an Iowa Cancer Consortium Implementation Grant to improve access to treatment for cancer patients from 2018-2021. The bulk of her experience in comprehensive cancer control and development work comes from working at the American Cancer Society for 10 years. During her time at the American Cancer Society, Kelly developed a passion for access to care for cancer patients in a literal sense of transportation and accessibility. She lives and works remotely in Waterloo, IA with her husband and 3 children.
